Prof Oboetswe Seraga Motsamai is a mechanical and aeronautical engineering professor at University of Botswana, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He received BEng. in mechanical engineering from the University of Botswana, in 1996 and MSc. Degree in Thermal Power and Fluids Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). He received PhD in mechanical and aeronautical engineering from the University of Pretoria in 2008, and got a Golden Key International Award for excellence in research. He started his career in engineering with Kentz Botswana, a mechanical engineering contractor and later worked for G4 Consulting Engineers, before, joining UB. He has researched and published extensively in the area of mechanical, aeronautical engineering and renewable energy, collaborating with local and international companies on R&D projects. He has ​served the University of Botswana in many high level committees: i.e. HOD, SENATE and FAPRAC. He also served in the Advisory Board for Botswana College of Engineering and Technology. He served the Government of Botswana in various committees and assignments: i.e a member of a committee under the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources for Concentrated Solar Thermal Power plant (100 MW), development of a 100MW photovoltaic power station, development of BERA policy documents and the recent Energy Balance exercise. He has previously assisted CEDA, LEA and other companies in engineering related projects.

Dr. Kwakwa is an economist by training and development professional.  She has over thirty years’ experience working with countries in Africa and East Asia to design and implement growth enhancing  reforms and investments in critical sectors including the energy sector.

Mr. Omoboriowo is a distinguished African energy leader with more than two decades of experience spanning infrastructure development, strategic leadership, and energy market reform. Recognised for his visionary approach to sustainable power solutions across emerging markets, he has built a career at the forefront of Africa’s energy transformation.

Mr. Manisa is a registered Land Surveyor with over 30 years experience in Geographical Information Systems, Cadastral, Engineering and Topographic surveys. Mr Manisa is well rounded both technically and financially coupled with vast experience in coordinating large scale surveying projects which spans over twenty years.

Ms. Kewagamang is a legal practitioner with over 20 years of practice in commercial law, corporate law and sustainability, public procurement law, litigation, consultancies and transactional advisory services. She brings extensive board-level experience across key public and private institutions.

Ms. Belai is a logistics executive and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the courier and logistics sector. She is the Founder and Managing Director of EG Couriers, providing strategic and operational leadership focused on efficiency, service excellence, and sustainable growth.

Ms. Modiega is an Executive Human Capital Consultant.  She brings extensive experience in business transformation in strategic human capital solutions, organisational development and talent management gained from both the private and public sector.
