As part of the Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, the Strategy & Transformation Department continues to make a meaningful difference in vulnerable communities through initiatives that support education and enhance learner wellbeing.

The department’s community outreach journey began in 2025 with a donation of 60 pairs of school shoes and socks to learners at Nshamba Primary School, made possible with support from the Marketing Department. Inspired by the positive impact of that initiative, the department took its commitment even further in 2026 by independently mobilising resources to provide 144 pairs of school shoes and socks to learners at Kabakae Primary School in the Ghanzi Region.

This significant increase in support reflects the department’s growing dedication to helping learners attend school with confidence and dignity, while reinforcing BPC’s commitment to creating lasting, positive change in the communities.
