Meshonga Tsimako is a Finance professional with over 17 years of experience in Financial sustainability, corporate governance and operational excellence across Botswana’s public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Botswana, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member in good standing of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA). She has also completed the Senior Management Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

Currently serving as Acting Chief Financial Officer at Botswana Power Corporation, Ms. Tsimako provides strategic leadership across Financial Planning and Control, accounting and treasury, revenue management, supply chain, project finance and security operations. Her career spans Financial services, higher education, manufacturing, retail and utilities, with a strong focus on strengthening organisational performance and sustainable value creation.
